E. Verona Douglas Sands is an Attorney and Barrister at Law born in the Parish of Manchester, Jamaica. She is a co-founder of The DS3 Group of Companies and a Senior Partner of Douglas Sands & Associates Law Firm.Verona obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Education from Prairie View A&M University and Masters of Science Degree in Education from The University of Miami before attaining her LLB from The University of London.
She was admitted to Britain’s Lincoln’s Inn after a rewarding career as an English and Literature Teacher at A.F. Adderley and R.M. Bailey Senior High Schools in Nassau, Bahamas. Verona was called to both the British Bar and the Bar of the Commonwealth of the Bahamas in 1987.
